Who We Are

National Rehab Helpline publishes this directory to help people looking for drug rehab centers and other substance use treatment options. We are an independent publisher, not a treatment provider. Our goal is to present information in plain language so you can compare programs, understand what different levels of care involve, and decide on your next step.

If you have questions about the information here, you can reach us by email at contact@nationalrehabhelpline.com. We do not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment advice, and we encourage anyone in immediate danger to contact emergency services right away.

Where Information Comes From

The facility details in this directory come from publicly available government sources. Two of the main sources are the California Department of Health Care Services directory of substance use disorder recovery treatment facilities and the federal FindTreatment.gov locator maintained by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. These sources list treatment programs, their locations, and the services they report offering.

Program information changes often, so a center's availability, insurance acceptance, or specific services may differ from what appears in a public directory. Before making arrangements, confirm the details directly with any program you are considering. We do not verify licenses, accreditations, or the quality of care at any facility, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party information.

Website Analytics

Like most websites, this site may use basic analytics to understand which pages are visited and how visitors find us. This helps us keep the directory useful and easy to navigate. Standard analytics generally collects information such as pages viewed, the browser and device used, and the general region a visitor comes from.

We do not use analytics to identify you personally or to profile you based on your health concerns. Many browsers let you block or delete cookies through their privacy settings, which will limit analytics collection. If you want stronger privacy while researching treatment options, you can also use your browser's private or incognito mode.

Phone Calls and Your Privacy

Searching for drug rehab centers can be sensitive, and we want you to know how phone calls relate to your privacy. This directory displays phone numbers for treatment centers and helplines. When you call one of those numbers directly, your call goes to that organization, not to us.

We do not listen to, record, or receive information about those calls, and we have no access to what you discuss. Each organization you contact has its own privacy practices, and many operate under confidentiality rules that protect people seeking substance use treatment. It is a good idea to ask any organization you call about its own privacy policy, what information it keeps, and whether the number appears on a phone bill.

Take whatever time you need, and only share what you are comfortable sharing.
