Who We Are

We are National Rehab Helpline, an independent resource for people looking into drug rehab centers in the United States. Our team exists to make one of the hardest parts of finding treatment a little easier: sorting through the options and understanding what is out there. We are not a treatment provider ourselves.

We do not run programs, diagnose anyone, or hand out medical advice. What we do is connect people who need help with the facilities and programs that can provide it, and we explain how the process works in plain language along the way.

How This Directory Works

Searching for a rehab program raises a lot of practical questions. What kinds of treatment exist nearby? What is the difference between residential care and an outpatient program?

Which facilities work with your situation? This directory gathers that information in one place so you can compare programs side by side instead of calling facility after facility. You can look through treatment options by location, see what services each program offers, and narrow things down before you ever pick up the phone.

The goal is to cut down the guesswork so you can spend your energy on the decision itself rather than on hunting for basic facts.

How Our Helpline Works

Not everyone knows what they need when they first reach out, and that is fine. Our helpline is staffed by people who talk through situations like yours every day. When you call, they will listen to what is going on, ask a few questions about what you are looking for, and then point you toward programs that may fit.

They can walk you through the differences between treatment types, explain what questions to ask a facility, and help you figure out a realistic next step. If you are calling for someone you love, they can help you think through how to approach that conversation too. You do not need to have everything figured out before you call.

Get in Touch

The fastest way to reach us is by phone through our helpline, where someone can talk with you right away about treatment options near you. If you prefer to write, or if you have a question that does not need an immediate answer, you can email us at contact@nationalrehabhelpline.com. People use email for everything from asking how the directory works to flagging information about a facility that needs updating.

Whatever you send, a real person reads it. If you or someone near you is in immediate danger, do not wait for an email reply. Contact emergency services first, then reach out to us for help finding longer-term treatment.
